The HDMI IN on my HP Envy 23 Touch was not working when I updated it from the pre-installed version of windows to Windows 10. I managed to solve this by going to my device's MY DISPLAY program. If this program is not already installed, you can simply install it by GOOGLING it and installing it from the official HP website. This is about the only thing that happened to work, all other advice that I have seen never worked. Please upvote if this solution works.

It's great to hear that you managed to solve the HDMI IN issue on your HP Envy 23 Touch by installing the My Display program from the official HP website! Sometimes specific software updates or installations are required to enable certain features or functionalities after an OS update.
