Hi @syedabdullaG330,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Are you trying to set up fingerprint, facial recognition, or both?
  • Does Windows Hello appear at all in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options?
  • Is your laptop brand new, or has this issue appeared after a Windows update or driver change?
  • Have you checked whether the fingerprint reader and IR camera show up in Device Manager?

In the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check Windows Hello availability

  • Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options
  • See if Windows Hello Fingerprint or Windows Hello Face is listed
  • If not, it may indicate a driver or hardware detection issue

2. Update drivers

  • Open Device Manager
  • Check under Biometric devices and Imaging devices
  • Right-click the fingerprint reader / IR camera → Update driver → Search automatically
  • Alternatively, download the latest drivers from HP Support for the 735 Ryzen 5

3. Check for Windows Updates

  • Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update → Check for updates
  • Some Windows Hello functionality requires the latest updates to function correctly

4. Run Hardware Troubleshooter

  • Press Windows + R, type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic → Enter
  • Follow the prompts to detect any hardware issues

5. Reinstall HP Biometric Software (if applicable)

  • Some HP laptops use HP Client Security Manager or HP SimplePass
  • Reinstalling or updating this software can restore Windows Hello options

I Hope this helps
