HP 32 Display

Basically what the title says. I got an adjustable monitor dual arm mount and realized the HP monitor needs an adaptar to make it mountable. But, I'm not sure which adaptar I need. Can someone assist with what adaptar I will need so I don't have to guess and potentially buy and return a bunch until I get the right one.

Hi @CalebM1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it can be to get the right mount adapter for your HP 32 monitor, especially when trying to avoid returns. Let’s try to make this process as simple as possible.

  • Does your HP 32 monitor have a VESA mounting pattern (the set of holes in the back of the monitor) already, or does it require an adapter to make it compatible with standard VESA mounts?
  • What is the VESA pattern on your adjustable arm mount (e.g., 75x75mm, 100x100mm)?
  • Have you confirmed the size of the mounting holes on your HP 32 monitor (in mm), so we can match it to the VESA standard?

Find the Right Adapter:

Check VESA Compatibility:

  • Look at the back of your HP 32 monitor to check the VESA mounting holes. If your monitor has 4 holes arranged in a square, that's the VESA mount. If the distance between holes is 100mm x 100mm, it’s a 100x100mm VESA pattern (common on many monitors). If it’s 75mm x 75mm, then it’s 75x75mm.
  • Some HP monitors may require an adapter to convert from a non-VESA pattern to VESA-compliant mounting holes.

Match to the Arm Mount's VESA Pattern:

  • Check the specifications of your adjustable dual arm mount to confirm what VESA patterns it supports (likely 100x100mm or 75x75mm). If your HP 32 monitor doesn’t match this pattern, you’ll need a VESA adapter plate.

VESA Adapter Plate:

  • If your HP monitor does not have a VESA-compatible mounting option, you can buy a VESA adapter plate. These are universal plates that convert the non-VESA holes into VESA-compliant ones (usually 75x75mm or 100x100mm).
  • Make sure to buy an adapter plate that supports the exact hole pattern on the back of your monitor (and is compatible with the arm mount’s VESA holes).

Ensure Weight and Size Compatibility:

  • Make sure the adapter plate and the arm mount can support the weight of your HP 32 monitor. Check the specifications for both the adapter and the arm mount for weight limits.

Sometimes, the monitor provides specific mount adapters or recommendations. I recommend you contact phone support for more details.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
