Product: Pavilion Desk Top
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have two blue arrows on all the files and pictures both on my desktop and when I opened my music, the arrows were there also.  When I open a file or picture, they go away only to return when I close the file or picture.  When I opened my music to listen to some of it I noticed that all the folders have the same thing on them.  Any ideas?

I am trying to include a photo, but each time I do it kicks out and I have to start over.  will try again20190329_213624.jpg

Just sent you a picture of the desktop, I also created a new folder and as soon as it hit the desktop the arrows popped on.

Are you using Norton antivirus?

 

If yes, the blue arrows are just indicators to let you know what has been backed up.

To get rid of the arrows, open up Norton and go to settings. Then go to backup. There is an option that says "Backup Status Overlay". If you uncheck this option then the arrows will no longer appear. It wont make your computer more vulnerable, it just removes the arrows.

No, I do not use Norton, but I found out that the arrows mean that Windows 10 has compressed the files to save disc space.  That is all.  Thank you for your effort and information.
