Hi,
When I connect my HP Elitebook 840 G3 laptop via HDMI DisplyaPort to a my LG 29WL500 Ultrawide Monitor, I'm not able to set up the resolution to 2560 x 1080 as It's not showed in the settings ,
When I try with other laptops (Lenovo), I'm able to set it when connecting to the monitor,
Do you know if there is a driver to update or something I can do to enable this resolution ?
Thanks a lot

What is your HDMI DisplyaPort cable ? I believe you connect DP at your machine end and HDMI at the monitor end.
You need DP to HDMI version 2 adapter or cable.
Regards.

Hi @Banhiem,
yes I use a DP to HDMI adapter from my laptot to the monitor, (this one https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B076RFF7Q3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )
Cable is a normal HDMI one, but as I use it also for my other Lenovo laptop I don't think this is the issue,
At this point I don't know if its due to the adapter or any missing driver/setting on my HP laptop,
In theory all my drivers are up to date,
Thanks

It clearly says
Il chip di conversione ottimizzato + Il Cavo Premium ⇨ 1920×1080@60Hz (1080P) Full HD con la schermatura contro l'interferenza. (la qualità audio senza perdita)
As I said above, you need an adapter/cable which support 4K or Ultra HD resolution. For example
I don't know which one is available in your country.
Regards.
