HP Pavilion 590-P0033w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings.  I have customer who purchased an HP Pavilion 590-P0033w.  The problem that I am having with this computer model is the generic BIOS options that comes with.  I installed an NVidia GT650 required for a device this card handle (billboard).  I want to know if it is possible to use any of the iGPU that the computer has embedded on it while using the PCI-E video card.  When I hook a monitor to the Nvidia card it displays without problems, but Windows does not see the Intel video card that is embedded onboard.  Is there an option that I am not paying attention in the BIOS that can enable both video card for dual display?  Thanks in advance.

Hi:

The specifications for that model indicate that if you install a dedicated video card, the onboard graphics is not available.

You can check the BIOS and see if there is a setting to enable the onboard video, but I doubt it.

I have some HP and Dell business desktop PC's that give you that option, but on the consumer class models, I doubt you have that option.

Thank you so much for the info.  I will ask my customer to upgrade his monitor for another (HDMI) model.  I just wanted to make sure if it works or not..Much appreciated.
