Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please help!!! Recently my HP-All-In-One (W3B88EA#ABU) has been inverting the display colours when I wake the screen up from being inactive. The computer won’t have been inactive long enough to require a log in, but just when it does to sleep, the colours invert. The only way I can get the colours back is to restart my computer or log out of my account. Really not sure what to do it just started to happen one day. Thanks in advance.

Hi @MoogieStew

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Updating the graphics card and the BIOS may resolve this issue, let us try these steps:

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

If the issue persists, run a hardware test on the display

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. Perform Component Test > Video. Share the result on your next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
