HP ENVY 23-o014 All-in-One Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had an HP Envy 23-oO14 All-in-One Desktop PC for over three years, but I decided to buy the HP EliteDisplay E223 monitor to enable me to work on an extended screen. I just realised that the connection using the HDMI for HP Envy 23-oO14 All-in-One Desktop PC is not displaying on the new monitor. I was able to detect that the fault was from the HP Envy 23-oO14 All-in-One Desktop PC because I tried using the monitor and HDMI cable on my HP laptop with success.

Can someone profer solution to resolve the issue with the HDMI on the HP Envy 23-oO14 All-in-One Desktop PC because someone told me that the installation of Windows 10 may cause issues with some drivers and ports.

Hi,

The HDMI port on your AIO is a HDMI input port. So that you could use the AIO screen with some other device such as a console. It is not an HDMI out, so it will not work with an external monitor as it will send no signal.
