HP All in One

My screen was dark so I tried restarting which the bottom light comes on and you can hear the fans running but screen is still dark. After looking further the mouse is no longer working or the keyboard which are usb ones. But when I plugged up the mouse to a usb on a different device the light comes on. So for some reason they won’t work with my computer all the sudden?

@Sumner1,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Have you tried to connect an alternate USB keyboard and mouse and check if that works.

Are you able to boot the computer into the Bios screen using F10.

If you have tried an alternate keyboard/mouse and unable to boot to Bios, then this looks like a possible hardware failure with the USB controller on the motherboard.

I would recommend you contact our HP support team for further assistance.
