I am also having this problem with the L2105tm. Windows 8.1. Whenever the computer goes into sleep mode, when I restore it from that mode, I have to unplug the USB cable on the back of the monitor and plug it back in before touch will work again. Super annoying, and I've basically stopped using touch because of it.

I am also having this problem with two L2015tm monitors attched to an HP 8300 Elite SFF running Windows 8.1. Touch on both stop working after a period of time and like others, I have to unplug the USB cable on both and plug them back in before touch will work again.

Did you ever resolve this issue? We are having the same problem with our library search stations. The HP screen is attached to a Dell computer running Windows 7. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, the monitor functions again. Very frustrating for library patrons.
