Hello,
I have a user with an HP Compaq L2105tm touchscreen monitor on an Acer Ultra small form factor PC running Windows 7 Pro. The touch screen randomly stops responding. If you unplug the usb connection for the touchscreen and plug it back in, it starts working again. All power saving and sleep settings are turned off. I saw it do it 3 times today in a 2 hour period. Any ideas? This thing is driving me crazy! HP web site says the drivers are built in to Windows. Thanks in advance!

Do you still have the correct drivers installed?
If you are using Windows 7, here is a link to the most recent drivers: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=38...
Best of luck,
Kyle

I'm having the exact same problem... Replaced the two (main and extender) USB cords with a single 10foot cord, updated drivers (Monitor and Touch) to the reccomended drivers... Windows XP SP3... Still no go. I have the exact same configuration on two other computers without any issues at all. HELP!!
