When I push Menu button, I get an on-screen message : "Vérrouillage de l'affichage" ("Display lock" ?) and I cannot access the menu OSD.

Can someone help me, please ?

Hi @AureliePaillass,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding unlocking the OSD on the HP LA2405x monitor!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

It seems like the On-Screen Display (OSD) lock function has been enabled on your HP LA2405x monitor. To disable the OSD lock and access the menu:

Press and Hold: Find the ENTER button on the front side of the monitor bezel.

Hold for 10 seconds: Press and hold the ENTER button steadily for about 10 seconds.

By following these steps, the lock function should be disabled, allowing you to access the OSD menu again.

Additional Steps:

  • If this doesn't resolve the issue, ensure that the monitor is powered on and displaying an active signal.
  • You may repeat the process if the lock does not seem to be released in the first attempt.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
