HP All-in-One PC 24-dp0000wa (7TT85AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an hp all in one 24-dp0xx.  I currently have a second monitor connected via the one HDMI port on the all in one.  I am looking to add another monitor for a total of 3.  I want to have these configured as extended displays.  From what I have read, an HDMI splitter will allow 3 monitors, but the 2 connected can only be mirrored, not extended.  I have an HDMI to USB converter but this does not work (USB is blue adapter is blue 3.0 SS.  HP all in one shows USB ports are SS but not blue).

The monitors I am connecting are 24' Dell (not sure of model).

A quick and easy fix is obtain a micacast dongle.  Microsoft has a cheap 2k and a more expensive 4k.  However, a Wi-Fi attached monitor will have lag when playing games.

According to page 6 of this manual

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06366166.pdf

you have a thunderbolt port (USB-C) in addition to HDMI.

Normally thunderbolt allows direct attachment of a monitor and only a cheap adapter to HDMI is needed.  The manual states

You may need to contact HP support and find out if you need the docking station or can just connect the port to the monitor directly. Also, HP systems can be customized so verify you have a thunderbolt port.
