Product: HP M27ha FHD Monitor

I am currently experiencing with my M27ha monitor. Unfortunately, the backlight lamp has stopped functioning just 8 days after the warranty period has ended... 8... Days... While I can still discern windows moving around in very low light situations, the monitor is essentially rendered unusable in any lighting conditions. When I turn on the monitor, the screen briefly flashes bright and displays the desktop items for a split second, but the backlight fails to illuminate thereafter.

 

Based on my understanding, it seems that the most viable solution would involve replacing either a component on the board or the board itself.

 

Are there any alternative suggestions or potential remedies that I could explore before resorting to seeking an alternative monitor?

HP Recommended

Same monitor same issue. HP is totally useless and the warranty is out as of 15 days ago. Seems super suspicious.
