Monitor E273m
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've just bought a monitor E273m with built in speakers and camera.

I connected laptop and monitor via the display port cable and the USB-A to USB-C cable.

I also installed the monitor's driver.

However, the camera is still not working.

When I run the firmware "HP E243m and HP E273m Monitor Webcam Firmware Update" i get a banner saying "camera device not found".

I am so close to returning the monitor, this is my last hope. Please help.

@Alma1231 -- the specifications for your monitor include:

USB Ports

2 USB Type-A downstream ports (3.0) and 1 USB Type-C upstream port

Upstream ports
(1) Rear USB Type-C 3.1 upstream

Are you connecting the "upstream" port on the monitor to a USB Type-A port on your laptop?

Thank you! Indeed, I had not seen the USB-C port in the monitor. Now I turned the cable and it works.

Thanks again
