@WouterZoekt

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you have an HP 27er 27-inch Display monitor. I read that the menu is inaccessible on the monitor. You have pressed and help down the power button for 10 seconds to unlock but the menu button does not work. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

I did some research and found that you have done the right thing. The same information is listed in page# 15 of the user guide. I recommend you to contact our HP phone support team to explore the hardware service options for the laptop.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Cheers!

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I did some digging on this case and came across page# 15 of the user guide. It suggests to press and hold the Menu button on the bottom side of the front bezel for 10 seconds to disable the OSD Lockout function. If this doesn't work then recommend you to contact our HP phone support team to explore the hardware service options for the laptop.

Hope this helps. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions. Good luck!

Thanks MKazi for your help but it didn't solve the issue. The OSD button and the button next to OSD button behave as power on/off buttons. The power button sometimes gives a popup saying power button locked or unlocked.

 I'll call support.
