Product: HP M27fq QHD Monitor

I've owned this monitor for about a year. It worked fine until all of a sudden there was intense flickering and burn in of vertical lines with the website I was on faintly burned in.

I've tried to reset the monitor and turned it off and on many times. 

How can I fix this? It's 100% an issue with the monitor as the flickering happens when it is not plugged into my laptop. Please help me.
