Since this is a relatively old PC, it did not come with Windows 11.  Has this problem come up after the upgrade to Windows 11?

If this was working and suddenly came to be, what has happened?  Any warnings or error reported?

I would verify the cables are installed correctly and the monitor does in fact work - try another source using the same input.
