HP ALL-IN-ONE 22
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently bought an HP All-In-One 22 computer; it is about 2 months old.  When I set it up and started it, everything looked good on the monitor.  About a month later, the monitor now has a thin, thread-like, black line across the monitor. I have read other messages on this forum but they don't quite relay the same issues...  Has anyone else had this issue?

@GarlinB
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  • When was the last time it worked without these issues?
  • Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
  • Have you checked the display on an external monitor?

let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:

I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,

If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
