HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to get a older hp monitor to work. It is currently using a 1024 by 768 as a recommended resolution. But on the monitor settings it recommends 1680 by 1050. And if i change to that resolution the monitor shows me a "input signal out of range, change to 1680 x 1050" whilst that is what i have applied. Is there a way to solve the issue and use the higher resolutions?

What is the model/product of your monitor ? How do you connect them ?
