HP 22cwa Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On startup the monitor displays the Asus logo for a few seconds with a loading circle beneath it. After that the screen either goes to sleep or does not display anything but is not asleep (grey but backlit). I have recently had to re download Windows 10 due to an update corrupting the computer. After downloading I could turn the computer on several times without issue but on the third time this issue occured. The monitor going to sleep was an issue before the redownload of windows but has been replaced by this new issue. I can only access the monitor menu with the buttons on the bottom and have already tried a factory reset to no avail. I have increased the monitor resolution but this was not causing any issues at the current resolution for the year I had the monitor prior to this.

Update:

I have an old laptop that I connected to the monitor and it works fine. Something may have happened when I redownloaded Windows. I hope this helps.
