hello,

My internet connection is wireless. I use and HP monitor w2338h, product # FN747A, serial # [edit].  About 2 weeks ago I sat at computer and the colors were all off, brightened and letters are so gray and light I can hardly see. I did connect with Microsoft thinking it was a Windows problem but they believe it to be my monitor.   I  have tried to factory reset the monitor as advised  but the - and +  buttons on monitor do nothing   I see the Brightness on monitor is at 90% but I cannot change it. I have not added any Drives or such that I am aware of.  Please advise how to activate those other buttons.  Select Auto does nothing as well.

Thank you, Szhaskell

@szhaskell Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.

That said, I suggest you release the Menu button (if something was pressing against it), and press and hold the Menu button again for about 10 seconds - let go, and then check if all the buttons working fine, however, if the buttons are still not working, it may be stuck or the hardware behind the button might have become defective.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

I did as you instructed. Nothing in the way of menu button. I even switched out the monitor but situation is the same. I guess I should bring it to someone I’m not very techie. Is that a word?
I do appreciate the help

thank you.
