Envy tower
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hope this is the proper forum,  This should be easy.

Just bought and setup the Envy a few days ago.  I've found the mouse is far too sensitive.  For example, in Widows explorer, if I single-click on a file, it opens the file.  On all previous PCs, a single-click highlights the file.  A double-click opens the file. Same with email.  A single-click doesn't highlight the email - it opens it.  How do I reduce the speed/sensitivity of the mouse?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the mouse is too sensitive.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Follow the below steps to reduce the mouse sensitivity.

  1. In Windows, search for and open Change the mouse pointer display or speed.
  2. In the Mouse Properties window, click the Pointer Options tab.
  3. In the Motion field, click and hold the slider while moving the mouse to the right or left, to adjust the mouse speed.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
