Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP 24yh monitor is flashing white constantly. The power button works fine to power on and power off the monitor, but the menu button is not working. I have tired different ways for trouble shooting including connect HDMI to other computers, connect through VGA, change power cord (from another HP monitor). The issue is always there.

This monitor is only 2 years old, just trying to save it. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks a lot!

@vividck -- years ago, a TV-electronics technician probably would have been able to do "board-level" repair of the motherboard inside your monitor.  But, now that brand-new monitors are so inexpensive, those technicians have retired, leaving you with no choice except to replace the monitor.

We have a similar problem when we turn off computer and reboot sometimes we get the display showing crazy color flashes and it takes about 30 minutes to boot up. Did you get this fixed and how?

The monitor displays what is currently loaded into the "video-RAM".

So, GIGO ("Garbage-In-Garbage-Out") applies -- incorrect information in the video-RAM causes interesting "effects" on the screen.

Taking 30 minutes to boot implies that the disk-drive is "failing" -- it needs to be replaced.

While it still has some residual "life", make a backup of your Personal Files to an external storage device.
