HP VH240a Display
Microsoft Windows 11

For the last couple of days, my HP VH240a 23.8-inch LED monitor has been randomly turning off every few minutes and coming back on a few seconds later. All the cables are securely attached. There is no physical damage. My laptop drivers are up to date. I have unplugged the power and all the cables and plugged them back in. I got the monitor almost exactly three years ago, but it is a backup that isn't used very often, so I wouldn't expect it to be worn out. Any suggestions?

Hi @rmcnulty,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Excellent description and a great diagnosis. It is greatly appreciated.

Since you have tried all the possible steps and checked all the cables. This looks like the Monitor is dying.

This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.
