HP X27QC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My hp x27qc colour calibration always resets from my preferred "custom rgb" back to the "gaming" calibration in the monitors settings not windows,

I just want to use custom rgb because it's a bright setting and I like it but it keeps resetting when I turn off my pc and monitor, it just doesn't save the calibration

Same but it only started doing it today. Ive had it 2 months. Also the fact that 'custom rgb' which is left at full 255, 255, 255 is so much brighter than the other settings is weird

Just had a play about and found the solution.

If you turn off the option to allow DDC/CI support its fine. Strange it only just started doing it. i never turned that off before and i even did a factory reset today to try to fix it and the issue was still there so it mustve always been turned on

Thank you for this. I just started having the problem with my x27q a couple days ago as well. Must have been some type of update that caused this. Your fix also fixed it for me. Cheers!
