Hi @Sourabhmondal,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP monitor suddenly turns off and cannot be turned back on, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Check Power Supply:
- Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet.
- Try plugging the monitor into a different power outlet to rule out an outlet issue.
Inspect Power Button:
- Make sure the power button is not stuck or damaged.
Check Power Indicator Light:
- Look for a power indicator light on the monitor. If it's off, the monitor is not receiving power.
Examine Cables:
- Ensure that all cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, VGA) are properly connected to the monitor and the computer.
- Try using different cables or ports to narrow down the issue.
Test with Another Device:
- Connect the monitor to a different computer or device to see if the issue persists. This helps determine whether the problem is with the monitor or the original connection.
Reset the Monitor:
- Some monitors have a reset button or can be reset to factory settings via the on-screen display (OSD) menu. Consult your monitor's manual for instructions.
Check for Overheating:
- Make sure the monitor has proper ventilation and is not overheating. Remove any objects blocking the vents.
Inspect for Physical Damage:
- Check the monitor for any signs of physical damage that could affect its operation.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
