Hello Community

My monitor Hpw2207 is having a problem that it is'nt starting sometimes. Yesterday I about 10pm I came to my room to use my PC and this monitor did'nt worked. I had done everything, removing power cord, vga cable and again put them in but it did'nt start. It has been making wierd popping sounds and the power button light flickers and is orange which is supposed to be light blue.

After that I left it and came at morning to take it for repairing. When I again switched on the monitor it worked fine like nothing happened to it. I used it for few hours to check whether it still has some problem or not but it worked fine. Again the same problem repeated for me the next morning and nothing seems to be working and I took it for repairing but it worked fine there. Again the next day same problem.

I don't know what to do, if this monitor really has some problem it does not start sometimes and make popping sound and sometime works fine like nothing happened...

Dear community I am waiting for your suggestion

I have the same problem, same model monitor and Windows 7. In my case the computer starts up and loads, but the screen remains black, with the popping noise and the power button blinking. After about 10 minutes, the display comes on with Windows already booted up. This has been happening for weeks now, always the same routine.
