HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V4AV)

Brand new HP envy. I've tried everything from driver updates, system updates and nothing has worked so far

Your touch screen might not respond because it is not enabled or needs to be reinstalled.

Please refer to this HP site for instructions and picture.  In addition the following may be helpful.

It is a little different from the HP help above.

Use the Device Manager to enable and reinstall the touchscreen driver.
- Press the Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.

1- Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and then select HID-compliant touch screen. (There may be more than one listed.)
2- Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select Disable device or Enable device (whichever is shown), and then confirm.

If there's more than one HID-compliant touchscreen device listed, perform steps 1-2 for that one too.

If it still does not work, do the following.
- Right-click the HID-compliant touchscreen device, and then click Uninstall.
- Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver.

===if the above does not work then you can try a cloud restore===

Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character.  If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash and following instructions.
