Hi @Eros01,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24 webcam is not functioning, and you're encountering an "error desconocido:-3" when trying to install the drivers. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps.

Check if the Camera is Detected

  • Press Win + XDevice Manager.
  • Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  • Look for your webcam (it may be named "HP TrueVision" or similar).
  • If there’s a yellow warning triangle, right-click and select Properties to check the error message.

Reinstall the Webcam Driver

  • Right-click on your webcam in Device Manager.
  • Select Uninstall Device, then restart your PC.
  • Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

Check Windows Privacy Settings

  • Go to SettingsPrivacy & SecurityCamera.
  • Ensure "Allow apps to access your camera" is ON.
  • Scroll down and check if specific apps (e.g., Zoom, Teams) are allowed.

Manually Install Drivers

  • Visit HP Support and search for your model.
  • Download the latest webcam drivers for your HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24.
  • Install the drivers and restart your computer.

Test in Another App

  • Open the Camera app in Windows (press Win + S and type "Camera").
  • If the webcam doesn’t work, try using a different app like Zoom or Skype.

Enable Webcam in BIOS

  • Restart your PC and press F10 (or Esc > F10) to enter BIOS.
  • Check if there’s an option to enable/disable the camera under Advanced Settings.
  • Enable it if disabled, then save and exit.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to SettingsWindows Update.
  • Install any pending updates, as they may include webcam fixes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
