It might depend on the model number of the PC. Assuming some things here, but by using "turn off screen" as a clue, perhaps you do not wish to shut down but please explain what is the goal. If this is a laptop or All in One, then the closest thing would be Sleep or Hibernate, while if a desktop, just turn off the monitor.

Sorry, I realize now I did not provide nearly enough info. It appears the problem has resolved itself, because I just opened my computer this morning and the "turn off screen" option appears to be working. Thanks for replying!
