Hi:
Since your PC has a nVidia graphics card, the onboard VGA port is disabled.
Does your monitor only have a VGA input?
Most monitors, even old ones as far back as 2005, have at least a VGA and DVI port.
If yours has a DVI port, connect it to the video card with a DVI cable since the video card has a DVI output.
If it only has a VGA input, then you can purchase a VGA to DVI adapter.
Plug the blue VGA cable into the VGA end of the adapter and then plug the DVI end of the adapter into the video card's DVI output.
