Z24n monitor

I am using the line out on my PC which worked on my old monitor. But now I am using the DVI output on my PC to the DVI on my monitor (the cable has HDMI on one end and DVI on the other, and as I mentioned a line out from my PC to the audio in on the monitor. I also tried a cable with HDMI at both ends and used the HDMI inout on the monitor and still no audio. I am using blurtooth headphones and those work. But I still want to get the monitor output to work.

Also, the only button on the monitor is the power, there is no menu button or volume adjust. The serial number is [Personal Information Removed]

I tried "add new device" on the HP website with a USB cable plugged in and it couldn't detect it. But on my control panel it shows as one of my monitors. I also tried to install drivers and the download failed with no explanation.

There seems to be more than one model Z24n but here is the manual for the one listed as just the Z24n.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04678022.pdf

There are also listed

HP Z24n G3 WUXGA Display

HP Z24n G2 24-inch Display

HP Z24n 24-inch Narrow Bezel IPS Display

The last one on that list is the one I used to find the manual.  However, I see no speakers listed as being part of the monitor.
