Most likely the wrong HDMI port is being used.  The spec page lists a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is installed.  Assuming there to be a HDMI port on that card, use that.  The HDMI port that is located with the USB and network ports is disabled when a graphics card is installed.  Click on the Back I/0 ports section on the spec page I linked to see the picture of the motherboard ports.  #3 of that picture shows the HDMI port that is NOT active.

when i took the tower out of the box, i noticed 2 plastic parts in the hdmi port and display port. Is that suppose to mean anything or just protection? Also if i unscrew the bolts, would it void the warranty?

I suggest you actually look at the support page I posted and look at the Back I/O section as I already posted.  First, do not unscrew any bolts.  Assuming the plastic parts are on the ports in the section I am addressing, then they are meant to block those ports.  In other words - those ports are not active.  Use the ports on the graphics card.

Thank you so much! Found the hdmi port for the graphics card and plugged it in and worked! Thanks for showing the pic of the i/o port and then I clocked on where the hdmi port for the graphics card.

@Ayadyly

That has a fairly nice graphics card already.  What did you have in mind?
