Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased this product to use with two external monitors.

Connected this product to laptop using USB C port. Connected mouse and keyboard - both are working fine.

Connected two monitors using HDMI1, HDMI2 and VGA ports. Not getting display in any of the monitor. Changed ports, changed monitors and still not working.. When I connect the HDMI/VGA ports directly to any of the monitor, both monitors working properly.

I am using the laptop model: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs3xxx Please suggest

Hi @Kumar1122,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you are experiencing issues with connecting your laptop to two external monitors using a docking station. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

  • Check Compatibility: Ensure that the docking station is compatible with your laptop and supports dual-monitor setups. Refer to the docking station's documentation and make sure it supports the video output requirements of your monitors.
  • Update Drivers: Make sure that your laptop's graphics drivers and the docking station's drivers are up to date. Visit the official HP website to download and install the latest graphics drivers for your laptop. Similarly, check the HP website for the docking station to get the latest drivers.
  • Check Display Settings: After connecting the docking station, go to your laptop's display settings. You can usually access this by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display settings." Ensure that the external monitors are detected and configured correctly. You may need to extend or duplicate the display depending on your preferences.
  • Power Cycle the Docking Station: Unplug the docking station from your laptop and power source. Wait for a few seconds, then reconnect it. This process can help reset the docking station and establish a stable connection.
  • Test Each Monitor Individually: Connect each monitor separately to the docking station to confirm that each one works individually. This can help identify if the issue is specific to a particular monitor or if it's a general problem with the docking station setup.
  • Check Cable Connections: Ensure that all cables are securely connected. Sometimes, loose or damaged cables can cause display issues. Try using different HDMI and VGA cables to rule out cable-related problems.
  • Check Power Supply: Some docking stations require an external power supply. Make sure the docking station is receiving power, and the power supply is functioning correctly.
  • BIOS/UEFI Settings: Check your laptop's BIOS/UEFI settings for any options related to external displays or docking stations. Ensure that these settings are configured correctly.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with connecting your laptop to two external monitors using the docking station.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
