Help!
I am a professional 3D artist who also plays games on the side. About a month ago I was doing some GPU rendering (nothing fancy that I haven't done with my PC before), when my displays shut off, my pc continued running for a second (audio playing CPU processes running etc.) then shut down.
This now happens every time there is a load on the GPU: rendering, playing games, 3D viewports in software.
I have a warranty but none of the phone lines are open until Monday as far as I can tell, I think it's a hardware issue as I have updated BIOS and drivers. The problem is consistent and I can replicate it if that helps. I have also checked the inside (not taken anything apart because I don't want to void the warranty) and all the connections look good to me. I would also like to mention anything else that doesn't use the GPU for example CPU rendering, simulations etc. work amazingly so it's defiantly the card.
This definitely should not be happening on a 3080ti running a 6 year old game on medium settings. I'm pretty sure it's the power supply but as I said, I can't get any warranty support until Monday. Any suggestions now would be great!
Thanks,
Jack

hi
No, sorry, in the current state, better to work the guarantee..
there is little to do here, and if it is material, it will be a waste of time, and you have obviously already done some in them
at least check if not an overheating problem

Thank you so much, already checked for heating, running at a relatively cool 55-65 for rendering and 50 for gaming, although oddly enough when I slapped all the fans up to full for the cpu cooling system (so there was more air into the case) then it took longer to crash.

Probably a graphics card/power supply problem.
so nothing more to offer, if not possible to open the computer, and if not possible to do a test without the graphics card (many models do not allow it)
and without the model of the computer, difficult to know!
