Omen 32
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can anyone with an Omen 32 display let me know if 10 bit color works at 75Hz? It doesn't for me and I'm wondering if this is by design (can't find an answer in the specifications) or if getting a higher quality cable might unlock this for me. I bought my monitor on ebay so can't be sure if the cable is original. It's only a small niggle but I'd like to know.

@whitehedge,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I would like to inform you that the display should work at 10bits and at 75Hz. It will also depend on the graphics card on your computer and the resolution you have set.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Many thanks for your answer. When you say it can depend on resolution, I wonder if you could confirm that the Omen 32 supports 10bit/75Hz at native resolution?

Anyway, maybe I will try a different cable though it's not a big problem switching to 75Hz/8 bit when gaming, and 60Hz/10 bit to watch movies -- which is the only activity where I notice the difference.

Thanks again!

@whitehedge,

The native resolution for the Omen monitor is 2560 x 1440 at 75Hz and it should work at 10bits.
