Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Tower PC (27P59AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I connected dual HDMI displays to the EliteDesk 800 G8 which has only 1 HDMI and 2 Displayport connectors. So according to

I used one monitor from HDMI-HDMI and the other monitor via a one-way Displayport to HDMI adapter.

That worked fine for some 3 months. So around 4 months ago only 1 monitor began to show the image, while the other did not get signal. What was worse is that the monitors began to swap signal every 30-40 minutes.So I switched one off and just went n working - inconveniently I should emphasize.

 

So now during the Christmas vacation, I have time to look at this. The same problem is there. I'm going to call HP, but any advice from the Community is appreciated.
