Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I bought an HP monitor to use as a 2nd monitor with my work PC, which is also an HP. But my PC screen does not project on my 2nd monitor and I don't understand why.
Yet, it works fine with my home computer, but not with my work one. Is it necessary to set up the PC in a certain way?
For your information, I use a dock between the two screens (My 2nd screen is HDMI and my PC is USB-C).
What could I do to make it work?
Thank you for your answers

@Doxy75 -- when you open the Windows "Device Manager", and expand the "Monitors" and/or the "Display Adapters" branches of the device "tree", do you see anything more than one device in each branch, to indicate that Windows has detected the second screen?

Thanks for your answer,
No, it seems that my business PC does not recognize the 2nd screen.
I don't understand why, because my personal PC recognizes the 2nd screen perfectly...

Is that PC supplied by your employer's I.T. Department? It could be "locked-down" by Windows "Group Policy" to prevent any non-authorized changes, such as not allowing USB memory-sticks to be connected, for any unauthorized "export" of the company's data, or to add an external monitor.
