Hi, I just brought my son this as he wants to try gaming on PC but also needs a computer for secondary school. On Fortnite he's saying the FPS is so low it's almost unplayable. Is there any way to improve that or am i looking at trying to take it back and replace?

Welcome to the forums.  In checking the system requirements for Fortnite, it suggests a system that can have a dedicated graphics card,  most AIO's do not have that capability.

The ability to upgrade the system in question to meet the requirements is not available.  If your son wants to be able to game and use it for school, a desktop model or a higher end laptop will probably meet that expectation.  Avoid an AIO model.  Check the specs on future devices before buying.  Keep in mind that future gaming will/may require better specs on the PC than the listed requirements for Fortnite.  Once a user starts to game, most likely he/she will want to expand the list of games to be able to play.
