I'm having an issue that a lot of other folks seem to be having which is that my all-in-one screen has begun to flicker and is proceeded by going black. I've tried unplugging everything, removing the peripherals, etc. and nothing has worked. I've downloaded all the updates, and it still persists. It only began within the last month or so. I've run virus scans and HP diagnostics, and it keeps telling me everything is fine. I'm getting very, very irritated.

Hi @rquigl03,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you’re dealing with this frustrating issue. It sounds like you’ve already taken many of the right steps. Here are a few additional things you could try:
- Check Display Cables: Since it’s an all-in-one, the internal connections might be at fault. If you’re comfortable opening it up (or if you can get professional help), ensure that all internal display cables are securely connected.
- External Monitor Test: Connect your all-in-one to an external monitor to determine if the issue is with the screen itself or something else. If the external monitor displays correctly, the problem is likely with the internal screen or its connections.
- Update or Roll Back Graphics Drivers: Sometimes new updates can cause issues. Try rolling back to a previous version of the graphics drivers or updating to the latest version from the HP website.
- Check for Overheating: Ensure that the system is not overheating, as this can cause the screen to flicker or go black. Clean out any dust from the vents and ensure proper airflow.
- System Recovery: As a last resort, you could try performing a system recovery to a point before the issue started. This can sometimes resolve software-related issues.
