I am trying to connect a TV as a second monitor. I have a USB to HDMI connector. When I connect it to the USB ports on the back it works but with very bad resolution. When I connect it to the USB ports on the side the resolution is great but it only works for a moment. After about 30 seconds I hear the connection sound as if I had unplugged the cord and the screen goes off for a sec and then I hear the sound as if it has been plugged back in and the screen comes back on only to repeat the process over and over. Is this because my graphics card cannot handle both screens at one time? Any assistance would be much appreciated.
