The sides of the monitor are brighter than the rest of the area on screen. This effect is more visible when something dark is on the screen. When the screen is absolutely black (but still on). a yellowish bright hue is visible on the sides, more prominent near the edges. This effect sometimes goes away after the monitor is switched on for about half an hour or so, sometimes it does not.
Monitor: HP 22w
Motherboard: ASUS A68hm-k
GPU: Nvidia GT 1030
CPU: AMD A8-7600
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.0

Hey there! @Wareed,
Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?
Have you tried checking with a different monitor? Does the issue persist?
If the issue does not persist on the BIOS page, try updating BIOS, graphics and chipset drivers on the PC to the latest version and check if it helps.

If you still have issues after trying the steps. It is certainly a hardware issue with the monitor.
