@thesmith7 When you tap on F10, you enter BIOS, then you just tap around select different options via the touchscreen and check if it works,

That's the whole point of going into BIOS, there's no tab or option named as touchscreen in it 😛 please follow my instructions again and let me know how that goes.

I am using windows 10. not sure when it last worked about 2 weeks ago? I tried looking at a recovery point to roll back to but none exist.

I had seen that troubleshooting website and have tried that with no luck.

any other suggestions?

I have tried everything and the touchscreen still will not work. I even performed a factory reset that did not work either.

Any other suggestions?

@thesmith7 Did you check if the touchscreen works in the BIOS Screen?

  • This would help us determine if this is either a software or hardware related issue, hence I request you tap on F10 during a PC restart and check if you can use the touch feature to select options outside windows.
  • If it doesn't work, this could be a hardware malfunction.
  • If it works, please use the HP website to download all the latest drivers for your device using this link: click here

Keep me posted,

When i tap on F10 where do i go from there? I didn't find anything that says touchscreen.

I did go into the driver and saw a driver for Touchscreen Firmware. I tried to install that and got this message.

【Upgrading】Search touch device...

This touch panel IC firmware update is for ILITEK only. We identified your
touch panel IC is not ILITEK. Please ignore this firmware update program and exit this program.
