Hi All,

I am trying to connect my desktop to multiple monitors? I go to Settings > Display > Multiple Display.  it does not seem to detect the monitor and laptop. My Desktop is recently new and I know the HDMI cable works ?

@Shapes2 That's interesting, what are you intending to do with the laptop? Please elaborate?

Your desktop is an All-in-One device with one HDMI-Out port, the only thing you can connect to it, is another monitor for a dual monitor setup inclusive of your in-built display, click here to confirm if this is your HP 24 AIO PC.

If yes, look under I/O ports > Back I/o ports for details on the HDMI-out port, which means it would only display video on another HDMI device, unfortunately, you cannot use any laptops to showcase video from it to the all-in-one device, let me know if you need any clarification with that, I'm not sure if i did a good job explaining it to you, also, i'm not sure why people say i sound sarcastic, when i type, let me assure you, that's unintentional.
