I am using "acer V196HQL" monitor for my HP z240 work station. Only one display port on the rear side of the CPU is working.  When connected to the other display ports monitor is showing " No Signal". What would be the problem.

Unless you happen to have a video card installed that has two display ports, what you have described is normal.

If a video card is installed, the backplane I/O HDMI port for the motherboard will be disabled. That is also stated in the user manual.

It would have helped if you had you stated if you have the tower or the small form factor version.
