I use my monitor between my work ThinkPad and my MacBook. Suddenly, when using with my MacBook, two large grid lines appeared on my monitor display. I would assume damage, but I had not touched my monitored nor moved the desk that it sits on. The monitor was only purchased about a month ago in anticipation of having to work from home. The screen is still very usable, but these two lines will be irritating. Has anyone else experienced this?IMG_2236-2.jpg

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

This does look like a Hardware issue. Please check in BIOS if you see those lines

Shut down the Notebook and upon restarting keep tapping on F10 till you see System Configuration Menu

If the issue persists in BIOS, please contact HP Support for Service Options

Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ and select your Country to get the Contact details for HP Support

Thank you

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Solution Accepted" on this Post and it will also help other community members with similar issue.
