Hello,
What USB C Thunderbolt cable is compatible with HP Pavilion 32 QHD? I keep getting the following message:
USB-C:
Caution - An unqualified USB-C cable has been detected.
Please use a qualified HP USB-C cable supported by this monitor to ensure the best performance.
The monitor didn't come with any USB-C cables, and the one I purchased works perfectly fine, other than that error message everytime I turn the monitor on. So really I'm just trying to find a way to disable/remove that message.
Unrelated to that, said USB-C cable is currently connected to my Windows laptop, and again that works fine. However when I tried to connect it to an Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock, and then connect the Dock to my laptop, the monitor didn't get recognized at all. That setup only works if I connect the monitor to the Elgato Dock via DisplayPort. Any idea why? I know the Dock does have 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports to connect a monitor to.
Thanks.

@giodibe86 -- use the "search" function within this discussion forum,
searching for "unqualified USB-C cable", and you'll find that your question has been answered.

Thanks, but I had already searched this forum up and down, and found no real solution. My monitor doesn't have a setting to remove that warning, and my cable is USB C 3.1 100W, which is more than what other people recommended here.

@giodibe86 -- when I did the search that I recommended that you do, I found:
and:
that provides two completely-different solutions (buy a better cable, or disable the message).
