Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G3 TWR
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an USB-C to VGA adapter (P/N: 831117-001) and I'm trying to connect a third monitor to my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 TWR. When I plug the adapter in the front USB-C port, it wil recognize the device and I get the message "Display connection might be limited". But I'm not able to get it to work. When I open "Display Settings", I will only see my already connected two monitors. The third one isn't showing.

In Device Manager I see the adapter under Universal Serial Bus device (HP USB-C to VGA Adapter)

 

What do I need to do to make it work? The specs of the adapter said my desktop is compatible.
