Product: HP EliteDisplay E243d 23.8-inch Docking Monitor

All of a sudden mu USB ports are not working with the excepption of the usb c port which i use to connect my HP laptop to the monitor. I cannot connect my mouse, keyboard, earphones

Tried cables and driver updates. external monitor display is OK. unable to operate USB ports on monitor and camera on monitor. All works OK on another monitor same make and model
